Can you improve your math skills through play?
At brainbow we’re obsessed with knowledge gamification. We believe we can make the world smarter through play.
We’ve been pretty quiet about our plans so far, but we’re already testing some of our hypotheses and are capturing tons of data around knowledge and cognitive improvements through games.
In our initial testing, we’ve proven that we can improve individuals’ math skills and specific cognitive skills such as attention and speed through simple and engaging games.
The graph bellow shows how our beta testers perform over time when playing Numbers Together:
People who engaged in limited mental calculations for 10+ years have seen their performace double in only two weeks.
We’re now crunching more data to better understand what is simple or complex math and how we can create better levelling algorithms that in turn will help people improve their performance.
If you’d like to contribute or if you simply believe you’re a math rockstar, you can download our app on the appstore: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/numbers-together-by-brainbow/id539359333
It’s still rough around the edges and only available on iOS (Facebook account required) so please send feedback and ideas.
